Product description

INTU FR COLLAR L SLIM consists of at least two layers of graphite-based intumescent material, each with a nominal thickness of 2.0 mm and a width of 30 mm, enclosed in a 0.5 mm stainless steel casing. The casing is equipped with mounting brackets for securing the collar to the partition.

The innovative INTU FR COLLAR L SLIM collar in roll is particularly suitable for difficult to access penetration seals (e.g., a pipe in a corner), for unusual pipe positions (angled pipe, elbow, pipe socket), for various types of insulated pipes, and for multi-pipe bundles. Based on the outer diameter of the service you can select number of tape layers and the appropriate length of the intumescent insert. Next, the steel casing is cut and the appropriate type and number of fasteners are selected (according with Technical Data Sheet).

Application

The INTU FR COLLAR L SLIM is a universal collar in roll used for sealing installation penetrations of pipes, cables, and cable ducts, single or in bundles, passing through walls and floors.

Flexible walls

The wall should be at least 100 mm thickness (made with a facing of at least two plasterboards on both sides – total facing thickness on one side of the wall not less than 25 mm).

Rigid walls

The wall should be at least 100 mm thickness (made of concrete or masonry with a density of not less than 450 kg/m³).

Rigid floor

The floor should be at least 150 mm thickness (made of concrete for example: reinforced, cellular concrete, with a density of not less than 550 kg/m³).
