Product description

The fire-resistant, non-combustible gypsum plasterboard A1 COREX features a reinforced core covered on both sides with glass fibre mats. This design ensures high structural strength and excellent fire resistance despite the board’s low thickness.

The A1 COREX board can be classified as fire-resistant products for:
– protection of load-bearing steel elements for up to 240 minutes; steel column and beam enclosures do not require additional substructures
– providing fire resistance for partitions without load-bearing requirements for up to 120 minutes, e.g., enclosures for service risers, partition walls, and suspended ceilings.

Application

A1 COREX panels are used for fire protection of steel elements, as casing for installation risers, and for partition walls and suspended ceilings. The casing for steel columns and beams does not require any additional substructure. The panels are dimensionally stable, resistant to shrinkage, environmentally neutral, and breathable.
