    Fire protection mat for ventilation ducts

    Product description

    Product ALFA FIREGUARD 3 is a flexible mat designed for fire protection in metal ventilation ducts (in accordance with EN1366-1). The flexible fire protection mat is applied in a single layer along the entire length of the duct. The product is made of mineral wool covered with aluminum foil and wire mesh on the outside. On the inside, it is coated with ablative paint reinforced with fiberglass fabric.

    The ALFA FIREGUARD 3 product assessment was conducted in accordance with EAD 350142-00-1106: Fire protective boards, panels and mats and their assemblies.

    The fire reaction classification of the ALFA FIREGUARD 3 mat was conducted in accordance with EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009. Product ALFA FIREGUARD 3 has a reaction to fire class of B-s1, d0.

    The intended use of the ALFA FIREGUARD 3 mat is as a Type 9 fire-resistant product that improves the fire resistance of technical installations in buildings. The ETA covers the use of the ALFA FIREGUARD 3 mat on Type A ducts.
