Product description
ASTRO PILLOW X are made from durable fibreglass filled with a mixture of mineral fibres and reactive intumescent agents. In the event of a fire, the intumescent material expands and then hardens, creating a complete and permanent seal against the passage of fire, smoke, and hot gases.

Application
Swelling fireproof cushions are used to create permanent or temporary fire protection for wall structures at service penetrations. They are great for sealing cable trays and ducts that penetrate fire resistant structures. Ideal in telephone exchanges, computer rooms or other areas where cabling is frequently changed.
Rigid wall
The wall must be at least 150 mm thickness and of concrete, cellular concrete or masonry construction, with a minimum density of 650kg/m3.
Transport and storage
Store in dry and cool conditions; at a temperature of +5°C to +25°C.
