Product description

The INTU FR FOAM 2K product is a two-component, polyurethane-based expanding fire protection foam.
Upon application, it reacts and increases in volume. In the event of a fire, it expands to form a barrier that prevents the spread of flames and smoke, maintaining the partition’s integrity and insulation for up to EI 120.

The foam INTU FR FOAM 2K is especially recommended for large cable penetrations seals. Fill the hole from the bottom up. Always position the mixing nozzle tip above the foam (according with Technical Data Sheet). Subsequently added installations can be routed through the hardened foam.

Application

INTU FR FOAM 2K foam is designed for protecting installation penetrations, cables (and cable support structures), cable bundles, metal pipes, plastic pipes, and Tubolit®Split copper pipe bundles.

Flexible walls

The wall should be at least 94 mm thickness (with a minimum of two gypsum boards lining both sides).

Rigid walls

The wall should be at least 100 mm thickness (made of concrete or masonry units with a density of not less than 450 kg/m³).

Rigid floors

The floors should be at least 150 mm thickness (made of concrete, reinforced concrete, cellular concrete, with a density of not less than 450 kg/m³).
