Product description

The INTU FR COLLAR consists of one or more layers of intumescent graphite-based inserts, each with a nominal thickness of 2.0 mm, enclosed in a steel sheet housing coated with red, corrosion-resistant paint. The collar is fitted with a locking clasp to secure its ends and keep it stable on the pipe, as well as mounting brackets for fixing it to the wall or floor.

The INTU FR COLLAR is available in a red housing version – INTU FR COLLAR – and in a stainless steel housing version – INTU FR COLLAR (ST). Both collars are the same product with very high fire protection parameters – in a fire, the collar creates a barrier, ensuring the partition maintains its tightness and insulation up to EI 240.

Application

INTU FR COLLAR is a pipe closure element used for fireproof sealing of single installation penetrations of metal and combustible pipes, either individually or in bundles, passing through walls or floors.

Flexible walls

The wall should be at least 100 mm thickness (constructed with a minimum of two plasterboards lining both sides).

Rigid walls

The wall should be at least 100 mm thickness (made of concrete or masonry units with a density of not less than 600 kg/m3).

Rigid floor

The floor should be at least 150 mm thickness (made of concret fore example: reinforced concrete, cellular concrete, with a density of not less than 1700 kg/m3).

Transport and storage

Transport and store in a dry and cool place
at a temperature of + 5°C to + 35°C.
