Product description
PROTEGA WOOD-S is an opaque, water-based intumescent paint designed for fire protection of raw wood and wood-based surfaces. When exposed to fire, the coating foams, extinguishing the flame and effectively blocking heat transfer to the protected surface.
If the surface is washable or the ambient humidity exceeds 75%, the layer of PROTEGA WOOD-S intumescent paint should be protected with a top coat of PROTEGA TOPCOAT W.

Application
Used indoors on raw wood and wood-based substrates (density ≥ 338 kg/m³), such as interior walls, wooden ceilings, and ceilings, with a minimum element thickness of 8 mm, to achieve fire reaction class B-s1,d0.
Transport and storage
Transport and store (in original, unopened packaging) in a safe, dry place. Shelf life: 12 months after opening the package.
