Product description
INTU FR MORTAR is a gypsum-based fireproofing mortar used to restore the fire resistance of partitions containing service penetrations such as cables, non-combustible pipes, or mixed installations.
The INTU FR MORTAR product is supplied as a dry mix that must be combined with water in the specified proportions before application (according with Technical Data Sheet). Once installed, the mortar effectively seals gaps around the penetration, maintaining the partition’s integrity and insulation for up to EI 240.

Application
INTU FR MORTAR is a fireproofing mortar particularly suitable for sealing penetrations containing insulated and uninsulated metal pipes, plastic pipes, electrical cables, cable bundles, cable trays, cable ladders, unshielded cables, telecommunications cables, and copper pipe bundles. It is suitable for both small and large installation openings, with its consistency easily adjustable from stiff to flowing, depending on the needs and size of the opening.
Flexible wallThe wall should be at least 100 mm thick. It should be made with a facing of at least two plasterboards on both sides (total facing thickness on one side of the wall not less than 25 mm).
Rigid wallThe wall should be at least 100 mm thick. It should be made of concrete or masonry units with a density of not less than 650 kg/m3.
Rigid floorThe floor should be at least 150 mm thick. It should be made of concrete, reinforced concrete, cellular concrete, with a density of not less than 550 kg/m3.
Transport and storage
Store in a dry place, avoid direct contact with the substrate. Shelf life of unopened bag of mortar is 12 months from date of manufacture.
