ALFA CAVGUARD ROLL fire-rated cavity barrier is supplied in a roll and made from intumescent material that expands under fire conditions to close the external wall cavity, preventing the spread of fire and providing fire resistance of up to EI 60.

Application
ALFA CAVGUARD ROLL barriers are designed to restore fire resistance in ventilated façades (walls with an internal air gap).
Approved partition layers include:
- Wall structure – wooden frame, concrete, or masonry
- External wall cladding – brick, blocks, ice-laid stone, or facing stone
Not suitable for use with cladding made of façade boards or other non-masonry materials.
The ALFA CAVGUARD ROLL fire barrier roll is suitable for ventilated cavities up to 65 mm wide, without insulation inside the partition.
The maximum air gap width after installation of the fire barrier is 59 mm.
Transport and storage
Transport and store (in original and unopened packaging) in a safe, dry place.
