Product description
ALFA VENT DUCT SLEEVE LP is a fire barrier consisting of a flexible sleeve made primarily from mineral fibres, graphite, and organic binders.
The intumescent material expands under fire conditions, blocking the spread of fire and providing fire resistance of the enclosure for up to EI 120.
The sleeve has a red aluminium foil coating reinforced with glass fibre and can be cut to the required length for easy installation.

Application
Fire protection covers ALFA VENT DUCT SLEEVE LP are used to restore the fire resistance of rigid, flexible, and rigid floor structures through which ventilation ducts/combustible pipes (including PVC) pass.
Flexible wall
The wall should be at least 100 mm thick. It should be constructed with a minimum of two plasterboards lining both sides.
Rigid wallThe wall should be at least 100 mm thick. It should be made of concrete or masonry units with a density of not less than 650 kg/m3.
Rigid ceilingThe ceiling should be at least 150 mm thick. It should be made of concrete, reinforced concrete, cellular concrete, with a density of not less than 550 kg/m3.
Transport and storage
Transport and store (in original and unopened packaging) in a safe, dry place.
