INTU FR GRAPHITE
Intumescent graphite sealant
Product description
The INTU FR GRAPHITE is a fireproofing compound that expands when exposed to high temperatures, sealing openings and gaps around installations. It forms a barrier that maintains the integrity and insulation of the partition for up to EI 120.
The graphite mass INTU FR GRAPHITE is perfect for penetration seals with difficult access – where tape or collar placement may be complicated. It is also widely used for fire-resistant seals of multiple air-conditioning bundles passing through walls, as well as conduits with or without cables inside.

Application
The INTU FR GRAPHITE is designed to restore the fire resistance of flexible walls, rigid walls, and rigid floors where pipes, cables, conduits, and bundles of cables pass through them. Installation should be performed in accordance with the technical data sheet. For large cable penetrations, loose mineral wool should be used as a backfil material for the graphite mass.
Flexible wallsThe wall should be at least 100 mm thickness (constructed with a minimum of two plasterboards lining both sides).
Rigid wallsThe wall should be at least 100 mm thickness (should be made of concrete or masonry units with a density of not less than 450 kg/m3).
Rigid floorThe floor should be at least 150 mm thickness (made of concrete, reinforced concrete, cellular concrete, with a density of not less than 550 kg/m3).
